I am always honored and equally humbled to think that my images have connected with so people around the globe. It is something that I never take for granted. It is truly a blessing to do something that I love so much and am in a position to allow others an opportunity to see what I saw and perhaps feel the emotion I had when I captured a brief moment in time.
What is even more meaningful is when one of my collectors takes a few moments out of their busy day to share their joy both in words and in photos that they send to me. That's when I take a step back and reflect on how truly I am blessed.
Below are just a few images and excerpts from those customers who have expressed their thoughts. Enjoy!

I met Hank and Pam in Beaver Creek, Colorado while doing a show there. They were looking for a piece that required some unique building to sit in their outdoor patio for their home in Florida. I offered to do a custom build for this piece that would allow them years of enjoyment. Little did I know that their home would be featured in a magazine. Here is what they said.
"The Maple Magic adorns our home in Florida and constantly reminds us of the glorious beauty of seasons we never see! Visitors (pre-Covid, when we had them) were all enamored with it. A stunning piece of a wonderful portfolio."
"We searched for over 4 years looking for a statement piece for this wall. We fell in love with this image when We first saw it on your website. I then talked with you about it at Artfest in Castle Rock way back in 2016. We discussed size and framing options (40x60 canvas with black float frame).
We went to several art festivals in Colorado since then. My wife and I looked and hundreds of images for this wall. We just kept coming back to this one (Starry Night in Chama). I could not believe that you were willing to honor a price quote you gave me from 4 years earlier, but you did it without hesitation. That was the deciding factor for us to invest in this piece and we are so glad we did!"
This collector in Virginia purchased his first piece from me 10 months ago. I have been working with him now for the past 6 months on two more pieces. We made several sample pieces for him so that we could dial in color that would compliment his home. We also designed a unique mounting system for his cork walls. Here was his response:
"Ken,
Hello. I received the two new pix and in good order. They are gorgeous and look fantastic in place. The plaque refinement is a definite improvement. Thank you for the extra effort.
Virgin River is a hit at the front entryway, the best thing we’ve put there in the 24 years since we built the house. See pix enclosed. Visitors claim they see people in the far background. Correct?
Fall Colored Mill is likewise a hit in the living room. Amazing how much larger it looks in full 30x60. It “polled well” when I was asking caregivers and visitors which of several of your pix they liked best for the space. The first two people to see it on the wall — both in favor of it beforehand — still like it very much in person.
Thanks again for the "artwork".
On the commercial side of the art world, I have been extremely blessed with my work being selected for medical centers, retirement centers, corporate settings, and more. It humbles me to think that there are great images created by equally great photographers, yet I was the one they selected.
This particular piece was one of three large statement pieces for Mississippi Vein Institute in Ridgeland, MS. Dr Manning wanted some images that would relax both his patients and his staff. This custom designed metal print floating on a black MDF background and framed in an Italian Imported frame was a piece selected for the patient waiting area. Here it is in the lab just prior to crating and shipping it via truck freight.
Working with a major art consultant and corporate interior designer, I was blessed with my single largest commercial installation at this senior living center in Florida. I still get overwhelmed with emotional feelings than run the gauntlet from joy to humbleness when I think that over 100 pieces of my work are in one location.
Sometimes, it's a surprise email a year later after a purchase that makes me smile. It's the thoughtfulness that a collector does that brings me joy like this email.
"Hello Ken!
I purchased your large display Yosemite Valley photo when you were at a show in Williamsburg VA. You helped me load it in my car, we had a grand time of it, haha
Well my husband got back from TX and we moved to a slightly larger home this past month so we were finally able to put it up on our wall. Just thought you would like to see a picture of one of your photos "in the wild". Thank you for your beautiful work, we love it and it reminds us of our honeymoon!
Thanks."
It is always an honor when someone invests in my work. My newest collectors along the front range fell in love with this image when they first saw it, but it was not at a show or in the gallery were they saw it. It was in another home. As ironic as this might sound, the home was built with the same floor plan and by the same builder as this couple's home.
They inquired the home owner about the artist (me of course). They called me, and I did a home showing. I designed a piece that fits right were they wanted it with a frame that compliments their home and furniture.
I often times will visit a home while I am on the road exhibiting. If you know that I am going to be in the area, feel free to reach out to me.
Most of all, thank you for collecting my work. It is an honor that I never take for granted!
This collector purchased a total of 10 pieces from me. Not only was that significant in and of itself, but she also wanted little plaques next to each piece describing the story behind the image I took. I am truly humbled when things like this happen. It tells me that my collectors are not only interested in my art, but interested in me as an artist.
"Just wanted to send you a few photos of where your gorgeous pieces are hanging at my house. Absolutely love having your work showcased in my home. Everyone who comes through the door also just loves these pieces! Thank you for sharing your art with me! I'm really looking forward to sharing it with others when they visit."
