why does My artwork looks different than it did on my computer?
This is one of the hardest questions to answer. While we strive to produce images that look the same in printed form as they do on your viewing device, there are some variables to consider.
The first variable to consider is back lighting. Back lighting is where the light source is behind the image. Images will almost always appear brighter on a computer screen or on your phone due to back lighting. This same lighting technique can differ between brands of monitors or types of devices. Consider this to be similar to looking at dozens of TV sets at a retail store. You can see differences in how the colors look between brands of TVs. You can sometimes even see differences in how the colors display in different models of the same brand of TV.
The next variable to consider is color calibration. If you are viewing images on a device that is not calibrated for the exact same color spectrum, or is calibrated for a different color profile than the one we are using, then the colors of your print may not be the exact same as what you are seeing on your device.
The final variable to consider is the substrate on which an image is printed. Color can vary between print, canvas, metal, acrylic, and wood substrates.
While we do our best to represent color as faithfully as possible and to make sure that the digital files sent to the printer are as close to the original files we have created as possible, we simply cannot guarantee that the image you receive in printed form will look exactly the way it did on your monitor or viewing device. We do not accept returns or exchanges on artwork due to color variations you may experience.
We work diligently to produce artwork that is as accurate as possible and believe you will be satisfied with our products.
